by Jane Khrisha Sandigan, DVM
January 31, 2025 – Nuevo Milenio Inc. promotes Grupo OX and Tulinovet during the first regular meeting of Unified Batangas Hog Raisers’ Association (UNIBAT) for the year 2025. Members and officers of UNIBAT were interested to know more about the mode of action and application of Ox-Virin and Ox-Agua to their farms and livestock, suggesting prospective local trials here in Batangas. The efficacy of Grupo OX disinfectants against the deadly African Swine Fever is promising, as many hog farms are still recovering from its devastating effect. Dr. Jorge Perez, International Technical Manager of Grupo OX, is the one who discussed the products via Zoom. As such, the participants were actively engaged during the question and answer session. Some of their concerns include the use of Ox-Virin with animals still housed inside the premises, its preparation, use, durability, as well as its market price.
Meanwhile, Tulinovet with its active ingredient of Tulathromycin is a more familiar product to some of the Farm owners and Veterinarians. Dr. Jonathan Dave Ubiña, Technical Manager of Nuevo Milenio Inc. briefly highlighted Tulinovet’s action against respiratory diseases, and its immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties, which are essential for detecting and recognizing pathogens causing diseases in the respiratory tract of animals. Members of UNIBAT also exchanged questions pertaining to the use and prescription of Tulinovet. As the seminar comes to an end, Nuevo Milenio Inc. picks three lucky winners of metal injectors for swine.
One of the participants commends the successful discussion. Furthermore, the majority of the members said they are likely to attend seminars conducted by the company such as this one. Their positive feedback to this event reinforces further collaboration and partnership for stronger animal immunity and healthier livestock. Together, let us uphold animal and public health by protecting food safety and biosecurity.
